However, there is such a thing as illegal building materials that we should be staying away from and if there is anyone who has the credibility and experience to tell us that-that would be our building materials supplier.
The construction standards have evolved with the modern times as well. There are building materials that are now considered illegal because it could bring potential harm or increase the exposure to risk to those who are working with it and for those who will be staying in the house for good. Once these illegal house materials or construction materials are found in your home or establishment this would be commensurate with fines, safety and permit issues that we can not just ignore.
Some of the illegal building materials are:
Lead Pipes. This has been banned in transporting water that was intended for human consumption. Consuming water from lead pipes could be very harmful to the human body and may cause further damages to human health if not properly addressed. We have to keep in mind that no amount of lead, even to the least amount in water, is considered safe because it should not be consumed in any manner in the first place.
Wood Roofs. Wood roofs have the biggest possibility to attract wild fire compared to other roof types. The spread of fire could also travel fast if this would be the material for the roof. There are other roofing materials that would help make your roof fire-proof and it is best to consult your construction materials supplier about it.
Corded window blinds or shades. This may be quite simple and aesthetically pleasing but it presents itself as a safety hazard for children as they may play around with it without adult supervision. There are other alternatives for shades and blinds that will not involve cords and the likes.
Natural gas. This may specifically vary depending on your location and building design allocated for safety but for units or rooms with limited space and with wooden materials, natural gas as a medium for cooking is not very advisable. Electric-powered alternatives may be more appropriate and safe.

As homeowners and residents of our future home, it would be very ideal to look for inspirations from different designs on different platforms now made available and build our house the way we wanted it to look by using the materials that we think would seem fit.
